United Kingdom will be the first member to leave the European Union.

While I agree the Brexit vote was retarded, and based on a campaign of nonsense. It could have been avoided had the EU before the vote come out with a plan to streamline and refine itself.

Anyway.. point is, it's happening lets look at the positives, UK are now PIONEERS! First to leave EU ever in history! Woo hoo, worlds first.

Lets stop the moaning and 'oh there's no plan' - even if there was a plan, you can't predict the future, it's better if we become flexible and open minded, there's a lot more world out there beyond the EU. And in our entire history we've only been in the EU for short while. Plus we never fully joined anyway, we didn't switch to Euro currency.

So stiff upper lips, cup of tea at the ready(Mostly from China anyway), socks pull up to knees, best foot forward lads.

Now, how do you say "Trade Agreement" in mandarin?....

    • Yep - of course I want it to work out. But have v.little faith in May's approach so far. Single market is still key - there's a reason beyond EU membership whyfadein11
    • we do so much trade with Europe - location. We will see - the effects could take a decade to really hit home but by then I hope we have some kind of govt thatfadein11
    • seem to know/care what they are doing. As ever the poor will suffer and the rich will get richer I am sure.fadein11
    • What? Having 'no plan' is grand for you fucks in the UK. Have fun with that, meanwhile those of us living in the EU are now in limbo.face_melter
    • Faced with the possibility, no matter how extreme, that the UK's pinheaded attitude will blow back and make my residency null and void.face_melter
    • So fuck it and fuck the UK - my plans for applying for full SWE citizenship are now in effect. Enjoy your no plan.face_melter
    • well half the country disagreed so don't hate us too much :)fadein11
