What's a legit & clean way to break a lease with a management company before it's over?

1 other person is on it.
    Any advice?

    • You have to ask. I was able to break my lease by finding someone to take it over as-is condition, while remaining responsible in case he fucked up or didn't paymonospaced
    • So you did a kind of sublet. I could try that- tho risky. It would only be for 3 mosbklyndroobeki
    • what mono said, aim to find a better deal.

    • I wasn't allowed to sublet so it was handled as a contract with the management company. They don't have to clean, list or show the unit so I get to break lease.monospaced
    • If you requested something to be fixed and it's not fixed, especially if it dangerous or changes your heating/cooling costs.Hayoth
    • Another option is to transfer the lease to another complex in or out of state owned by the same company.Hayoth
    • monospaced did you live w/ someone else who was on the lease? say, a housemate?bklyndroobeki
    • I want out so badly.bklyndroobeki
