Could woman aboard be the first deported because of Trump's orders?
8:45 p.m. MT Feb. 8, 2017Immigration agents arrested Ms. Rayos, 35, and began procedures to send her back to Mexico, a country she has not seen since she left it 21 years ago.
For the past four years, federal immigration authorities have given Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos a pass to remain in the U.S. rather than deport her back to Mexico.
But that changed Wednesday, when Garcia de Rayos went to check in as usual at the central Phoenix offices of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Instead of being released, she was taken into custody, while her husband, two children — both U.S.-born citizens — and a group of supporters watched in tears.
- Victims of identity theft report severe emotional distress. A 86% majority are banks and credit cards. Many victims are the elderly whose lives are put to risk********
- Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos was arrested in 2008, now a convicted felon involved in Identity Theft.********
- She was convicted of a felony for using a fake social security number at work, for using false documents to get her job.whatthefunk
- omg fact checking system crashfadein11
- I heard she also created a fake university to intentionally deceive customers out of millions to profit from a scam. She decided to settle out of court...whatthefunk
- She also owned a string of casino-hotels and refused to pay the staff and contractors.face_melter
- She broke the rules, she's a felon and a criminal. It's time to move on. No time for your temper tantrums today.********

- What part of breaking the law did you not understand?!********
- Oh c'mon - your virtue signaling is showingwhatthefunk
- What was her intent, it certainly was not for a financial crime. Should we lock up every frat boy college kid with a fake id and make an example?!?whatthefunk
- You just said she was impersonating someone for money using SS#. Horrible federal crime, how is that not a financial crime?********
- Let's not forget the poor American job she just stole using another American's SS#.********
- See my newest post and apply the same fervor for obeying every letter of the law.whatthefunk
- Underage beer drinking does not match someone stealing an average of $250,000 in cash.********
- No, Kellyanne Conway's violation of the federal ethics law. "She broke the rules, she's a felon and a criminal."whatthefunk
- We can't justify Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos actions. And now we have to take care of her kids I assume.********
- Her kids are American citizens or not in your warped perspective?whatthefunk
- Anchor babies********
- The logic is if I break into your house to have sex on your bed. By law, you have to take care of them.********
- If any babies occur on your bed without your permission. Meanwhile we have an awesome free abortion program********
- Please openly deny them being american citizens, I'd like to hear you say it...whatthefunk
- Would you mind if the two kids stay with you till they turn 18? It seems like you would be willing to take over the parental duties and offer bang space.********
- As an American patriot I have no issues with tax dollars going to support american children born in this country, especially those in a single parent householdwhatthefunk
- It's not like you're inconvenienced or have a choice. Your patriotic views of immigration rewards criminals who can sneak past the border illegally.********
- All it does is swap out another family member who has been waiting on line legally.********
- Is that how you view immigrants here in the US? We're all criminals who have been rescued by your patriotic good intentions?********
- I'm not really sure you've thought illegal immigration through in terms of its effects on the economy and the citizens of this country.********
- Typical Rethuglican and your multiple selective personalities. Your Christian Sharia law is deplorable, masqueraded as some type of economic moral authority.whatthefunk
- Mother's offense is low level, tearing a family apart is reprehensible considering this specific case has nothing to do with saving American lives.whatthefunk
- Though again, you're a troll birther teabagger on the wrong side of history having trouble with your own Vanilla ISIS velcro shoes - get out of the basement manwhatthefunk
- Felonies are pretty serious dude. It's punishable by imprisonment for a year or by death. The level of ID theft involved here is pretty serious.********
- With an SS# you open a bank, med care, file fraudulent tax refunds, commit crimes where submitting a fake # can put the owner in deep, and can steal benefits.********
- It was a fake SS#, apparently you and your little bubble need to get out more. Even IRS suggests to use fake numberswhatthefunk

- But again, until I see you indict Team Trump with the same legal bias we all know how biased you are with your selective bigotry - Make America White againwhatthefunk
- false, phoney, fake... are you trying to imply she just used a random made up number off the top of her head and found her guilty of a first degree felony?********
- oh here it comes, i see you pulling out your spray painted swastikas, racist banter, and targeting bigot bombs now.********
- She used a fake Social Security number, she didn't assume someone's identity - but Arizona's law is selectively biasedwhatthefunk

- Is she illegal, yes. Is it a crime, yes. Do I believe in open borders, no. Are we safer b/c she's gone? Was she a bad chica? This wasn't a legal triumph...whatthefunk
- Each country has its own immigration laws to follow, meant to protect its country of origin. The US has open borders amongst its states.********
- The country is not looking to criminalize young kids who want to party. Tourists come from many countries. Immigrants come from everywhere.********
- H-1B work visas are available to foreigners. This is not a race issue. You only went there to deter from the real issue that illegal immigration forms a problem********
- I think the main concern are those who are taking jobs away from Americans. Student grads, military vets, even foreigners with work visas who follow the rules..********
- deserve to find work. whether they paid college tuition, served, or have a timely manner in which to find work in order to stay in the country.********
- illegals do not care about the law, and upset the balance. If was just a few, it might be okay, but its so much that only 69% of US citizens are employed.********
- You are looking at one case with a sad story no doubt, but we're also dealing with mass immigration. you have to draw the healthy line somewhere and follow it.********
