You still haven't explained why Trump's lies don't bother you. The birth certificate thing, an obvious and blatant lie. Trump himself admitted there was nothing to it a few months before the election without any explanation.

Millions of illegals voting, a lie invented out of nowhere which plays on racial polarization. These are just a few examples, you could write a whole book on the subject.

In terms of clickbait, Trump has appointed the CEO of Breitbart, the most clickbait-driven and sensational news site, as his number one advisor. Trump appears on Alex Jones' show.

You don't seem to be able to defend any of this, but you're saying the media is dishonest. Who in the media? The media is made up of hundreds of thousands of people. Some are good some are bad, but on a spectrum from complete accuracy to total bullshit, I would put Trump's media, Breitbart and Alex Jones, pretty far on the side of bullshit.

Of course Trump wants to attack and discredit the real media, since it's the only thing left to hold the people in power (him and the Republicans) accountable. Even if I was someone who voted for Trump, I would find that extremely troubling.

    • Just because you find him indefensible does not mean some of these stories about him are not true.IRNlun6
    • Attaching false stories too him makes any real criticism about him much less believable.IRNlun6
    • likewise, just because he says shit doesn't make it true, and that's what the problem is ... people (like you) actually seem to believe his alternative realitymonospaced
    • Media, CNN just one example, discredits itself when aligning with political parties during elections. They deserve to be called out and distrusted.IRNlun6
    • But do you find these lies by Trump to millions of people defensible or not?reanimate
    • You clearly don't like Brietbart and find it fair to criticize them. They're all still free to report, criticize, or spin. Trump just handles them differentlyIRNlun6
    • The thing is Trump is neither Republican or Democrat, he's common sense and he's brilliant at keeping up millions of people up late at night thinking of him.robotron3k
    • haha - Trump's future legacy - fear induced insomnia.fadein11
    • Robo, that is utter bullshit. Trump is running the show as a Republican. Before the election, you might have gotten a pass saying he was neitherallthethings
    • But he's a rubber stamp for every right-wing policy out there, and his cabinet is a Tea Partier's wet dream, all looking to dismantle the agencies they've beenallthethings
    • named to.allthethings
    • @IRNlun6 Hopefully we can agree that it doesn't make sense to complain about something, and then align with the side that is even worse.yuekit
    • Breitbart is the worst example of all the things you mentioned -- clickbait headlines, doesn't care about the truth, openly supports one party and politician toyuekit
    • the point where their CEO now works for him. They are basically Trump's propaganda site.yuekit
    • Not to mention that judging by the comments a large proportion of their readership are white nationalists and other kinds of racist scum.yuekit
