I was expecting Donnie Yen's character to be more like Serif from the Matrix movies. This kind of quiet cerebral spiritual guy. Instead he was telling jokes, smiling a lot, and that accent, I couldnt deal with it. Sounded so ridiculous. The fawce is stwong! Awful. I liked every other character expect for him.
Ive never seen Donnie Yen in any other movies but his acting in this was shit. Good fighter, probably should never speak in any movies.

- he was used to get into the chinese market. They took away the japanese elements, shinto and bushido and made it a bit more kung fu. sign of the timesmugwart
- the ending wasnt the original one shot, they had to re-shoot it. So i think his main scene was taken out - thats just my guessmugwart
