Old Port is the tourists place but you have to go there.

During winter the city is a little bit messy, lots of snow everywhere at the moment. The coldest time of the years are coming, beware the potential -25C, -30C that can feels like -40C with the wind... we have those in Jan and Feb. This morning it was -16C with the wind.

    FYI -25C is -13F

There's more to do and the city looks better in the summer.

Try the restaurant Au pied de cochon. On of the top restaurant with amazing food. You won't regret it.

Robert Mapplethorpe expo at the Musée des Beaux Arts de Montréal.

Take a walk at the Place des Festivals, there's always stuff happening there outside, lights and multimedia projections and stuff.

On the Quai Jacques-Cartier in the Old Port, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday there are DJ's and techno music outside, it's called the Igloofest, dance party outside, go there. From 730PM to 0030AM

Planétarium + Biodôme + Insectarium + Jardin Botanique can be cool, specially if you're with kids. Same place as the Olympic Stadium, you need to take a taxi, bus or metro to get there.

Body World - Animals at the Montréal Science Center in the Old Port again http://www.montrealsciencecentre…

http://www.schwartzsdeli.com/ if you want to taste the best smoked meat ever. Lots of tourists, always a waiting line. Can combine it with a walk on St-Laurent street.

the Basilique Notre-Dame and the Oratoire Saint-Joseph if you're into churches.

Go on the Belvédère of the Mont-Royale, even in winter. You'll be on the mountain and have a view of the whole downtown and more.

Walk the Ste-Catherine street if you like stores.

There's also 32km of underground city. Check the map : http://www.stm.info/sites/defaul…

    Thats a start :)
