Santa Barbara...remember it well. Drove there with my then girlfriend...nice lazy day on the beach. Went to the Wharf and had a great meal. Walked back to our grotty motel room...went at it like rabbits. Heard some yelling and screaming around midnight...cops knocked on our door at 1am saying a bloke upstairs had just beaten his partner to death.
One of the weirdest days of my life.
- Crazy. I've never heard of cops waking up hotel guests to alert them to a murder in the next room. Ha!monospaced
- Was a motel. Happened above us. They just wanted to know if we heard or saw anything.BusterBoy
