What TV journalists did wrong — and the New York Times did right — in meeting with Trump
On Monday TV people walked into an ambush, agreed not to talk about it, then Trump went straight to the Post with his version. He controlled the narrative and distributed his story. On Tuesday the NY Times refused to waiver so they could provide an open account of the events by live tweeting, and can you blame them for how much they've been blasted by him. But, Trump couldn't churn his own propaganda machine to control that narrative. TV execs bended their knee and got got, I applaud the NY Times for holding firm...
