I think if the movie Idiocracy were really telling the details of the story they would describe it more like this:

You see, whereas throughout history basic darwinism would have killed off Clevon's bloodline. The true dumbasses that spawned Clevon's legacy of idiots were the couple above who believed that everyone is entitled to free healthcare, welfare - including food and housing, free education, and any and all entitlements we can afford them - thus enabling and supporting the mass breeding of such idiots. Now these idiots don't have to deal with the realities of true survival nor the consequences of being able to afford having lots of children. This in turn is creating a future whereby the idiot masses end up running the show and outnumbering the social democrats who enabled them - just like in the movie Idiocracy.. wait.. based on the election results i think just may have already happened.. LOL
