Apple makes people dumb.
For example I had to tell my girl to stop whining because with the new ios she can't copy parts of text messages anymore. And instead of thinking she started to bitch-out. The solution is that you paste the fucking text to a new message and start editing there, cut-copy-paste problem solved stfu.
I feel this shit all the time in the office where 8 of the 10 people are using a mac and they sometimes don't even understand the basics of the device they use. They can't copy a file without mouse, or trackpad, can't use command line, and if something isn't working the way they expect it's always someone ease's fault.- the concept of intuitive interfaces is that it IS supposed to work the way the user expects it.********
- that's what bothers me about software written for windows is their lack of thoughtfulness in designing software.********
- that's okay i'm not against this, but please just learn some basic stuff. like you don't have to copy and delete a file to move it to an other directory...********
- because there is a move command for that...********
- disk not directory.********
- haha. like move=autocopy. that's definitely wizard level for the person who only understands scrapbooking.********
- and the joke is that she is using illustrator in a level i would never understand********
- haha********
- How is one supposed to simply intuit so many levels of abstract complexity? All good tools require a learning curve. Monkey see, monkey do.detritus
- Your gf is right. You should be able to select the five words you want instead of having to delete the 25 you don't.i_monk
