It's a classic power play made by inept people.
If you can't get your shit together properly don't expect others to miraculously fix it for you simply because you are a higher pay grade.
Or in other words. A crisis on your part doesn't necessarily mean one on mine.
Always point out or ask what caused the urgency. Then do your best to highlight the risks before knocking the work out the park.
Once done, make your points on how best to avoid the same thing happening again. If it does, call them out on it. ASAP.
- If it's your client. Increase your fees for rush work by at least 25%. It'll soon stop.monoboy
