Just saw the second debate again and wlll jot down my points for you, the qbners and for myself:
- Trump has a "tremendous" amount of energy. I don't know if it's desperation but Trump is a bulldog out there. He interrupts, he makes outlandish comments, he fights everyone he can fight including the moderators... he made Hillary look a bit passive.
- Hillary is smooth, classy, by the book. She didn't need to gain ground and probably slept-walk through this thing but when she did get excited her eyes lit up and she went for it.
- There is a lot of character assassination happening from both sides: Trump brands Hillary a crooked politician, Hillary brands Trump as divisive and a demagogue. Same old story.
- Hillary wants us to trust her experience. Trump feels her ineffectiveness in office is exactly why her experience is crap and that he could do better.
-Trump is aggressive with his foreign policy talk but Hillary thinks he is full of shit and is talking out of his ass.
Trump obviously has some talent with his technique. I think he does land some blows and gets the people going, Hillary may be playing it too safe. She absorbs Trumps offense and doesn't play hardball back much. Maybe she feels like she should just let Trump self-destruct, I don't know. But I will say this Trump's constant attacks are exhausting and after a while his demagoging got in my head.
Can Hillary be trusted? IS she strong enough to lead? Is she really a pawn of special interests? Why id she get so rich while in office?
but at the same time can Trump be trusted? How do we know he is not trying to destroy everyone in his quest for respectability? Does he even know what he is talking about? He seemed lost when talking about the internet not too long ago...
I'm as lost as ever. Hillary seems like the safe pick. Trump is better than the media lets on.
I still miss Bernie.
- oh, and Trump sniffs. A lot.********
- great analysis. It's easy for us on the outside to watch the train wreck unfold, but for you Americans, there's so much at stake._niko
- Hillary is very corrupt, you can trust that she will not progress this country further than it already is. Trump will also not be able to push his agenda.********
- If you are really still undecided, I'd say look at the policies. More important than how they did in a TV debate.yuekit
- Bernie is still taking Hillary's pound pound, it's hard to stop watching him. Even while Hillary pounds him non-stop.********
- Yay for the 2-party system.********
- Some of this is absurd. Her husband is an ex-president, ALL ex-presidents get insanely wealthy when they leave office. Thats how she got so rich.CygnusZero4
- Of course she can be trusted. Look at her resume. She has been a very busy little bee for 30 years.CygnusZero4
- Salty repubs only point out a couple of her failures, and never address her 80+ successes.CygnusZero4
- Trump is Hitler 2.0. He wants the country to be a dictatorship. Hes been exposed and its impossible for him to win. WAY too hot-headed to run any nation.CygnusZero4
