Just binge watched the season. It was good. I thought the weakest parts were the stupid monster.

Everything was great, the characters, the look of the show, the music, and then theres this dumb cgi alien. I would have preferred it to be something more... idk... unseen? Left up to the imagination? Instead of showing this stupid looking monster.

I also REALLY wish with season 2 that they took more of like a tales from the crypt route. Leave this season as a complete finished story. And season 2 is something totally new. All new characters/actors, all new story. I feel like ive seen enough of this story and these characters. But theyre taking the safe route and just going to continue this just because people liked it. Weak! Take some risks and do something new with each new season! That would be awesome, but nope, another season stringing this same story along. Great.

    • Thats easier said than done, look at how that worked out for True Detective.sofakingback
    • Also, don't be comin up in here with your slow ass, bumping this thread. Watch that shit like the rest of us, the whole thing the day it comes out. lolsofakingback
    • I agree with you here. The monster didn't have to be seen and it shouldn't have had that modern monster noise and look either.monospaced
    • Imagination is definitely powerful enough to not show it. Having it eating barb was pointless.monospaced
    • When I heard season 2 is the same cast, my first thought was: Haven't these people been through enough?DRIFTMONKEY
    • Everyone is obsessed with the kids and their natural chemistry.monospaced
    • Interesting. Stranger Things could play off of kids imagination each season could be different.teh
    • Did you actually watch it or are you lying again and copying what someone else said?face_melter
