    I also really, really like the Knoll Life Chair. I picked one of these up refurbished for under $500, but it was worth it, and I can vouch for it. Incredibly sturdy, built almost entirely of cast aluminum and steel, and extremely ergonomic. To me it's both more comfortable and far more aesthetic than the Aeron chair. This made working from home so much nicer, especially on my back.

    These retail for well over $1,000, but can be found used and fully loaded for a lot less if you can live with a few scuff marks.
