    The current state of VR sucks. I went to a thing a few weeks ago and tried Oculus and Google Cardboard. It's essentially strapping a fucking cellphone to your face.

    The resolution sucks and I felt nauseous afterwards. Really needs to improve at a rapid rate.

    • Cardboard is literally strapping a cellphone to your face, so that's a bit of a poor comparison. Which version Oculus did you try?detritus
    • Given how inherent the limitations are, I was quite impressed by my Cardboard experience, but I know that's not the end-game, by a very long shot...detritus
    • ...it was intended, from the off, to be a quick and dirty means to try the general experience and perhaps play with some basic dev.detritus
    • I didn't know there were different versions of Oculus. I tried whatever they had at the Beta event I attended...sorry don't know more than thatsublocked
