FUCKING LOL at you Trump-defenders who say his words are "taken out of context" or that he's constantly misrepresented. You all know what he was implying, and we all know that he meant it as a joke. We don't all need to argue like children about it.
But while we're on the subject of people being misrepresented.... Can someone please link the video or article where Hillary says she essentially wants to abolish the Second Amendment?
I can't seem to find it anywhere.
- btw, I'm not excusing him for making a joke about murdering a future president. It's despicable and all Republicans should be ashamed of what they've nominated.********
- Exactly 1,000%Ramanisky2
- Plenty of info out their on how she would gut the 2nd amendment but they're likely not sources you'd believe. A simple example, litigation of gun manufacturers.IRNlun6
- what are you going to do when you learn the scary truth? I'm not sure you're ready for it.********
- IRN is right on this one, even Bernie said that was too farmoldero
- I don't understand paranoia of gun owners that someone is going to take their guns. There are more guns than people in the U.S., even if government had theyuekit
- power to do so it would be logistically impossible.yuekit
- In order to take the guns away from people, there will have to be a staged attack on the people first.********
- its not the kind of stuff you wanna be talking about on the internet********
- OMG omgRamanisky2
- :(********
- the speculation alone is enough to get you listed.********
- I agree with you yuekit. The logistics and the resistance to it are unmanageable.IRNlun6
- when they are poor and hungry, they can either choose to keep their families safe or feed their family.********
- how would you do that you ask? take away their jobs for starters********
- IRNIun6 = calm, calculated, rational.
nb = emotionally volatile, defensive, accusationial, shouty.******** - @IRNIun6: Can you see the contradiction? You complain that Trump's words are taken out of context, while you yourself "translate" on behalf of Hillary.********
- My point is the contradiction in Trump saying "that's not (exactly) what I said" while he accuses Hillary of something that she clearly has not said.********
- You can't have it both ways. Either we are allowed to interpret the words of these people or we're not.********
- She has said she wants to repeal 2005 law that grants firearms manufacturers and dealers “immunity” from lawsuits by victims of gun violence.IRNlun6
- I'm not interpreting anything. Those are her words and that action would destroy the firearms market.IRNlun6
- She has come out against the 2nd amendment many times is her career so we can infer from Trumps comment to "abolish" is more in line with her position..IRNlun6
- Trump has no history of violence or ordering hits on any political opponents. So to infer from his comment that he did is so is pure speculation.IRNlun6
- You can look at his comment as just another extreme way to get attention, but can easily interpreted it in a dozen other ways.IRNlun6
- If you haven't seen by now, the entire media establishment is picking apart small comments like this to assassinate his character. It's effective, expect more.IRNlun6
- Because the entire media establishment believes Trump is unfit for the position, just like most of the world's intelligent, educated and influential people.monospaced
- Even high ranking people in the Republican party feel this way. Not everything is a conspiracy.monospaced
- Dumb peoples opinions don't deserve equal consideration and only the candidate smart people deem to be worthy gets a pass from criticism.IRNlun6
- That still implies conspiring for the selected candidate.IRNlun6
- Yes, except for the fact that the media has been picking apart stupid shit Trump has said and done for 30+ years. It wasn't a conspiracy then.monospaced
- What you call conspiring most would call plain support. It's not like all those talking heads don't passionately believe Trump is unworthy when they say itmonospaced
- They can bash away, it's the free pass they give Hillary that's the problem. Let the public decide who's more fit for office. Not some media shills.IRNlun6
- No one forced Trump to act like a lunatic though. If the GOP hadn't nominated such a controversial candidate, Hillary wouldn't be escaping scrutiny so easily.yuekit
- This is a recurring pattern in U.S. politics. The fact that the GOP is so far right prevents a real debate from happening on many issues because you areyuekit
- faced with a choice between status quo and insane right-wing lunatic.yuekit
- In my opinion trump has either been allowed to get where he is, or put where he is, in order to give hillary the free pass you mentioned.********
- btw, I'm not excusing him for making a joke about murdering a future president. It's despicable and all Republicans should be ashamed of what they've nominated.
