When did support for "the lesser of two evils" become morally and ethically not just OK, but widely acceptable? I'm truly baffled by the collective social moral compass pointing away from what's the "right" thing to do; and not the "oh well" thing to do.

This election clearly demands a 3rd party or independent runner's support! Enough with comparing two horribly shitty choices in the face of Trump & Hillary and debating and arguing which one stinks a little less. The world is in dire need of collective awakening and breaking away from the stigma of established ways of doing things. It's 2016! This is the future. Humans should know better by now!

    • So vote 3rd party and when trump is in office, feel free to complain more about Supreme Court choice, complete alienation; uptick of racism, etc2002
    • Voting 3rd party elects Trump, not Hillary? Wut?chukkaphob
    • so perpetuate the problem, instead of finding a solution?chukkaphob
    • Voting third party helps trump in general election2002
    • most people who would vote third party are not trump supporters2002
    • I am with you on third party or clean up current party. It just isn't going to happen with next 98 days before the election2002
    • Let's plan fours ahead or send a clear message in midterm as it's easier to manipulate.2002
    • Koch are pouring money in senate as they know general election is a lost cause. Why can't reformist do that?2002
    • If you want change, revolution will always be a minor blip. Look at 70s. Much bigger and angrier voters. People voted carter for this exact reason.2002
    • Change starts locally. Get your third party candidate in congress.2002
    • Why do progressive reformers forget about mid term which could be biggest impact someone could have in president's direction?2002
    • OK, that was all good . Thanks for sharing your views. Agree with lots of what you said. Thanks!chukkaphob
    • The Democratic Mind Trick wants you to give up your vote in fear of a Trump world. Sneaky and not a good moral reason to throw away your vote for your silence.

    • Booth parties are playing games. It's a shame. Trying to manipulate the masses. It's sickening, really.chukkaphob

    • I'm most concerned that it's 2016 and yet/still the mass population doesn't have the collective enlightenment / awareness / willingness to reject the status quochukkaphob
