I keep thinking about the debates constantly. Hillary is known for having a temper, for getting very defensive when cornered. I hope her team is working with her to change that. When Trump throws out the insults, the lies, the irrelevant tangents, she just needs to respond with "since Donald Trump won't focus on the question, I will." And perhaps laugh a little bit as she says it.

She needs to say things like "I'm not here to be immature and call people names." She needs to be sarcastic, never actually insulting him, but making remarks about his temperament, saying things like "I'm not sure what that was supposed to mean?" and "Is it OK if I give you an actual answer to the question?"

I don't like Hillary that much. But in terms of legitimate experience, legitimate understanding of national and world issues, she can and should demolish him. Trump spent 10 minutes the other day talking about her running mate, Kaine, but thought she'd chosen the former mayor of New Jersey. HE HAD NO IDEA HE WASN'T TALKING ABOUT THE RIGHT PERSON.

Think about it: If she can do all this, stay positive, never get angry and never get rattled, he's going to be fuming and be so flustered that his usual tactics aren't working. We know he can't hold back from insults and stupidity when he feels threatened. It should be hilarious.

    • Yep - I will be tuning in for sure.fadein11
    • lol, I'm still putting money down Trump will be too chicken to face her in an actual debate using actual knowledgemonospaced
    • it'll be the first time, to my knowledge, that a candidate will refuse to debate, but we've had a lot of firsts with Trump, so anything's possiblemonospaced
    • She got through 11 hours of one hearing without cracking. Think she'll be just fine.monkeyshine
