in a sense they do. everything's connected. but that doesn't mean the responsibility lies with anybody else but the direct perpetrators.
if you think that a crusade from the middle ages, or political shit from WW1, WW2 or 2003, or a religious book can be assigned some part of the responsibility, you are buying into the same insanity that these mass murderers are stuck in.
