I'll say this about the Brexit:

The BRemain campaign did a better job. By positioning the argument as "Remain means things stay the same, while Leave means things will change drastically" they harness the status quo bias vote.

But, Remain doesn't mean everything will stay the same. In fact, adopting the Euro and opening borders is a huge change, some might argue it's an even bigger change than Exiting.

I have no idea what the correct choice is, but if I had a vote it would be Remain. Because as many people have said, we're more committed to solve our problems when we work together as a common.

    • what the hell are you on about? Adopt the Euro? Opening borders? This is not part of staying in lol. Do some research.fadein11
    • Borders are already open - that's part of the EU which we are a part of. The Eurozone (Euro) is something separate which we opted out of and won't be joining.fadein11
    • Purrlease - it's these ridiculous myths being spread around that have made this vote so close.fadein11
    • Oh really?! Shit I should read more! Sorry, I'm a dumb American. I thought the EU was pushing for UK to adopt the Euro, & that's what caused the referendum.
      ********
    • no ha - nothing to do with that, the referendum happened because of in fighting within our conservative (read republican) govt... Cameron was forcedfadein11
    • Shit, I'm embarrassed. I usually read before opening my mouth.

    • to call it as his party was split on Europe and he needed to take control - but it was a ridiculous and risky move. Nope if we remain things remain as they werefadein11
    • Good lord, this new information really makes me think the Exit supporters are morans. Staying in the EU & keeping your own currency? WIN WIN
      ********
    • or as Cameron would argue better as he negotiated a 'better' deal with the EU. Sorry wasn't calling you stupid , just heard so much BS about this on run up tofadein11
    • vote it is scary - people believe these myths and then vote out.fadein11
    • Yep - that is my view as well... way too raky to go it alone. A lot of the out campaign still think we are an empire not reliant on Europe. The reality is v.fadein11
    • You're not as KORREKT as you think you are, Fadein - the UK's not part of the Schengen agreement, so no 'open border' between the UK and France.detritus
    • ...the wee strip of water between us doesn't help either, to be fair.detritus
    • different. Of course the EU has many problems but my God the cronies who want to take us out are a nightmare bunch of right-wing, selfish, dangerous people.fadein11
    • Sorry by open borders I mean free movement of EU citizens to live and work which is what I presume nb meant - not a symbolic border control.fadein11
    • I come to think Brexit is actually about the massive influx of non-Brits into the UK. It seems people are "saying" other reasons but it a case of migrants thatrobotron3k
    • are looking to up their societal and economic status by simply relocating to the UK and asking for citizenship. Or is this really about something else??robotron3k
    • ^ for the average working Brexit voter it is about the perceived strain on jobs/public services of migrants without understanding the strain is from years offadein11
    • tory austerity. The right-wing press in the UK feeds these lies on a daily basis.fadein11
    • Still not understanding, entering migrants don't have jobs, correct? so they are on social welfare, so wouldn't that tax jobs/public services even more??!robotron3k
    • Most work or are students and we can move to any EU country and do the same... the benefits are far greater than the costs. This is about EU citizens notfadein11
    • refugees - unfortunately a lot of dimwits here connect the 2.fadein11
    • here = in the UK. I wasn't calling you a dimwit lol.fadein11
    • Ah okay. It never seemed the UK wanted to be apart of Europe (Euro) since you keep your own currency and keep it valued high. Let's see what happens!robotron3k
    • Eurozone and EU are 2 different things - we have been part of the EU since 1973. The Euro is a currency that was optional.fadein11
    • It was introduced in 2002.fadein11
