Been crazy gassing over modular recently after watching a video about how you can use the CV out from the AnalogFour.

Really fancy a few of the Bastl Instruments Grandpa's and have FX like Clouds and Roland's Bitrazer as effects. Use a matrix mixer to route the A4 and modules through the effects.

Talking up around about a grand though for a couple of granular samplers and some FX.

    Worth it?

Is modular REALLY a rabbit hole I want to peek down?

I've already signed up to modular.net and been sketching ......

Someone please persuade me to stop before I even start.

    ;)

    • dont have the bank account either. the good thing is the modules are small so wife won't notice the little parcels arriving ;)microkorg
    • Just buy reaktor and use that :p ...see if you actually do.sublocked
    • I do have reaktor but i dont spend much time in front of computer music making as i spend all working days in front of screen.microkorg
    • Don't overlook Doepfer. Very affordable, built well, and sounds just as good as everything else. I've had a modular for 6 years., fwiw.section_014
