I'm legitimately curious about what rationale people have for planning to vote either way right now.
Does anyone have any really concrete reasons why they'd vote for Trump outside of vague notions that "he's different" from other politicians?
Same question on Hillary, outside of her being the the only other possible option right now, what policies speak to you?
Mind you both have been caught lying multiple times, or at least shifting their positions significantly to a degree that it's caused distrust among a great many people. So what really breaks through the noise with these two that speaks to you guys?

- policy is what you want to hear according to marketing principles for you to buy it for her to get elected. If elected, policy flows where money goes.yurimon
- Non-interventionist foreign policy, strong national defense, renegotiating trade policies, to name just a few.IRNlun6
- Can't enact any policy without the house and senate so specifics are really just promises at this point.IRNlun6
- @IRN, yeah the last comment is totally fair, so do you think either can really make good on their promises? IMO they both seem like liars, and choosingben_

- I think personally trump hates inefficiency on gov operations as his dealings with the city has proven. I dont hillery has much of backbone so hard to tell.yurimon
- Regardless of the policy you want to hear, I think it's clear that Trump is lacking in understanding of the major policies that impact the US and the world.mg33
- So many things he's rattling on about are leaving smarter people baffled as to why he'd pull a 180 on so many things. Climate change, deals with allies, etc.mg33
- I can understand a candidate's desire to change the status quo, but it's so widespread with Trump that many see it as quite dangerous and troubling.mg33
- Trump and Bernie ran on pretty much the same issues. Although clearly with different temperaments and government/less government ideas.IRNlun6
- I think many are accustomed to a very diplomatic, very pc way of politicians presenting themselves and are uncomfortable with a brash, unapologetic style.IRNlun6
- I like Bernie, I just find pc and nice to be too cautious when this country is being chopped up and sold. They're both relatively similar on the problems.IRNlun6
