Ok, I'm almost a week in. So far, it's fine. A couple things:

My only major complaint: Google sells Fi as being cheaper because it uses Wifi a lot. From their site: "Project Fi automatically connects you to more than a million free, open Wi-Fi hotspots we've verified as fast and reliable."

Well, I live in Manhattan and Fi has not automatically connected me to a Wifi, yet. It's only been a week, but still... not once? It can't connect to things like the wifi in Subway stations or places that require an "Accept" to access. So, I don't know if it's ever really good. I mean, is it just like Starbucks Wifi? Because I feel like they implied that they set up some networks.

The problem is that if you don't save data by using Google Fi, then it isn't really cheaper. If you use 3GB+ per month, it's actually more expensive than other providers.

    2. The Nexus 5x is bigger than I'd like, and is the smallest phone on Fi.

    3. I actually prefer Android to iOS, for now. Although I haven't bothered to sync everything, yet.

    • To be clear: it can connect to Subway Wifi, but you still have to do it manually like every other device. It doesn't automatically connect.nb
