Have a Sri Lankan buddy from way back, from our days living in Namibia and Finland as roommates.
Was going to meet him in Sri Lanka at Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Buddha) in his home town of Kandy, not because I'm religious, just because it would be fucking cool.
However, the air fare is something fierce to get to Colombo and back and the trek inland (who the hell knows) might take longer than wanted. Oh well...
