Before and after for an ombyggnad (building rebuild/renovation) for an office outside of Stockholm. Because of glass, glass, even more fucking glass and metal, and the asphalt having too much bump and specular the render took something like 6 hours or so.

Then the post work took 5 hours - motherfucking LOL! A new face_melter record.

    • Please ignore the floating Audi.face_melter
    • Cool work - good to see renders that aren't necessarily in 100% Summertime sun!detritus
    • Yeah, midday renders are boring and cold. I always try to add some dynamism and warmth using a lowered sun. But sometimes that's what the client wants...face_melter
    • With this one, time was extremely tight so i just fucked it and did all the tricks. Apparently the client went bananas and loved it.face_melter
    • classic moneyshot :) shops left side of the building are a bit strange with the different levels
I presume floating audi is your signature
      (I could not resist)

    • its nice and polished :) how much time was to build up the model?

    • The building was constructed on a slope, so the windows are set at different heights - only used for display. As is is now, the building stops at the 3rd floor.face_melter
    • But the architects make the model, I don't fuck with that shit. At all. Unless to fix problems. The facade has already been redesigned...face_melter
    • I had to make two new images (this an extra view) for a meeting on Friday afternoon. I was given the model on Thursday. Woo!face_melter
    • Which city is this?martinadolfsson
    • It's in a area just outside of Stockholm, about 15 minutes on the t-bana. No names because Google scrapes QBN like a motherfucker.face_melter
