    Something for mods to consider. there are plenty of people on here who for the most part, hardly post in design threads. However with the absence of lets say myself. these non design threads still flourish. especially the hate trump thread which has remained near the top in posts for some time, a non design related topic... However once there is an apposing view, facts or posts to challenge ideas that do not fit a desired world view, then its a problem of people not posting design oriented material become intolerable.

    If people want a more design oriented site then the best thing to do, instead of posting lets say in the hate trump post, instead post a design related link or pic. cant blame some else for something you are not doing yourself.

    However if I can also say that some of the frequented design sites are not linkable to this site. ive had this problem many times.

    overall part of the appeal of this type of format is that its not so stuffy and layed back in how people can conduct a conversation.

    Also that design or art related threads still are percentage of the site, but not as much.

    other sites related to design discovery, sharing or inspiration have a very narrow UX focus, are better focused on serving specific content.

    the casual approach to hosting a design community in the way qbn does it is extremely unique and rare. more regulated changes would take away from the laid back atmosphere you dont get elsewhere
