For the record, I hate April Fools.
The internet version, anyway - it all tries far too hard and everyone falls about themselves metooing.
More than a little happy to hear that Google's GMail April Fool backfired so spectacularly - what the fuck were they thinking?
It's like having some friendless idiot pull wires out of your car and then yell SURPRISE! as you careen off the highway and slam into a bridge on the way to work in the morning. Tools are tools - stop fucking with them.
