I was in one of Melbourne's newest BBQ/smokehouses at the weekend where it costs $22 for one beef rib, a few slices of pickle and a golf-ball size bread roll.
My memories of a few places in the US make that seem very fucking expensive. Is it?
- depends on the place... my buddy owns two BBQ joints here in AZ, dinner menu w/prices: http://www.bootlegge…PonyBoy
- about as pricey as your joint... but the portions are hefty (american-size if you will)PonyBoy
- BACON BOARD $24 (so gooood)
five types of rotating bacon, sweet onion jam, red pepper jam, whole grain mustard, gherkinsPonyBoy - that seems a lot better value and (as much as I can tell) similar quality level, market etc...MrT
