    • why one earth would you want to land on a barge..autoflavour
    • auto—returning a rocket using a little fuel is loads cheaper than sending a crew out for retrieval—the idea is to retrieve it after use cheaply as possiblePonyBoy
    • yeah of course, but just land it on earth, why try and do it on a boat..autoflavour
    • i think its awesome reusable rockets.. i just dont get why a barge makes any senseautoflavour
    • hmm... see your point... I was thinking maybe they want to run less risk of scorching the earth or human settlement... probably not the reason though... ?PonyBoy
    • Maths. Earth's surface is 70% water and the remaining is hugely unpopulated - try sending a crew to the middle of Africa or for Russia/ China to say 'ok'.face_melter
    • reading the comments, its to do with saving fuel, returning to the place of launch uses way more fuel.. but i guess it costs less than a new rocket.. so..autoflavour
