I wouldn't worry about the DIK reference as it's a pretty basic/generic design, but it's fine.
What I would suggest is that when you click on Portfolio that you:
1. Have a thumbnail of the project. I clicked a bunch of times and assumed you hadn't completed it before realizing you had to click 'View work'.
You've got nice work, you should show it off on the home page.
2. I'd stick the numbers (for work) in a table, or whatever to keep them from moving each time the text changes.
As a side note, I rarely ever read about the work, but always look. So I'd rather see an image, with an 'Info' button.
