I started using Toggl myself, both at work and at home for freelance, and I'm super stoked with the results. It's pretty easy to log time for project and edit entries very fast. You can create Projects linked to Clients, and each time entry is a Task. There are no limitations to this, and that flexibility is helpful.
For their free offering you can use three integrated platforms which stay linked in real-time. I can start recording time in the web interface in one place, edit/start/stop on my mobile phone while I'm out, and continue on the desktop app when I'm sitting at my machine. It's all seamless.
Best of all, it generates detailed reports. So far, so good. I recommend this to anyone who needs to keep good track of time.
