In a professional sense, I became more of an introvert for a while after some serious confidence-killing issues at a past job I left in 2013. I had good ideas and contributions but kept them to myself for quite a while after that. Luckily, I'm in a great spot now where I can be outgoing, no idea is wrong, and our coworker group really thrives on contributions from extroverted personalities. It's really helped me open up and find that confidence I was missing.
Personally, in most cases I'm an extrovert unless I just don't want to get to know people.
