This is gonna sound like I don't like this stuff... but...
Why the obsession with AI and Robots? What do humans hope to accomplish that we are not able to now?
it sounds like such a short sided question, Im all for advancement in technology... but I don't see why AI is such a big thing for humans.
Im guessing its more of a "HER" (movie) scenario??? we need some sort of selfless, emotional slave?
- 1. It's our species attempting to reproduce, making smarter/better "children". Or 2. We're alone in the universe, so we need to build friends.i_monk
