really sucks.
same thing happened to me about 3 years ago. I was living with a girl that I dated for about 4 years. We had plans to go to the Dominican Republic for Christmas and had all the plans made. Shitty thing is I was going to propose to her. Two weeks before the trip she tells me I don't hang out with her friends enough and that she wants to see other people. Looking back at it now, I'm really glad it happened.
So, go paint, drink, whatever you have to do. Things always have a way of working themselves out. Good luck.
