    In case you wondered why Escobar's spanish accent is a bit strange, the character is played by Wagner Moura, a Brazilian actor, took me a while to figure it out, because he gain some weight for the role. If you haven't seen him in "Tropa De Elite" (Elite Squad in English) is great 2 part story about the battle between brazilian favelas and the police squad sent to exterminate them.
