  Wyoming for instance: it has one of the highest firearm death rates in the whole of the United States but how many homicides? Zero. Nobody killed anybody else with a gun on purpose in Wyoming in 2013. But they killed themselves in large numbers. And, nationwide, of those 33,363 Americans gunned down in 2013, 21,175 (63 per cent) were cases of suicide.

  • that's really sad. seems like a waste of time to focus on the suicides in the context of the gun control problem though. accidental death is the easiest factor
