Not trying to be a dick here, but what's so exciting about 'No Mans Sky'? The graphics look pretty good, but not astounding. The game play looks pretty standard, like a shooter that's similar to 100 games before it. So, what's the excitement about?

    • nobody knows really, mostly that it's a huge universe? I still don't understand the actual "game play" part of itmonospaced
    • Supposedly there's unlimited worlds, but how different are they going to be from eachother? And who has time for that?dopepope
    • But I guess it's pretty cool. If it's fun, I'm in. I'll beat 3 worlds and I'll shelf it. : )dopepope
    • I'm not seeing the appeal myself, I see the appeal from an artistic perspective but I'm not seeing the gameplay being much funernexbcn
    • You just explore planets, name stuff and gather resources, I hope there's more than just that otherwise it will be just an "experience" kind of gameernexbcn

    • I share your concerns, ernex.

I'm just gonna go ahead and assume it's total shit, then buy it and enjoy whatever the fuck it has to offer.

    • The combo of scale, amount of procedural stuff mashing together, naming your discoveries - is still intriguing me. And I'm a cynical twat!MrT
