Just an opinion, but a 25% take off the gross donation seems steep considering that you're asking for your dev and launch costs to be crowdfunded. There's presumably also transaction fees associated with the purchase of a voucher, no? Sorry if I missed anything in the link, but it kind of reads like by the time my donation gets to the organization, about 30-35% of it would be soaked up in costs associated with your site and with giving. And then there are the (understandable) admin costs that all charities, ngo's etc. have - so take another 5%-35% depending on the org.

Curious also what threshold a restaurant might have for this? Tax receipts are only attractive up to a point - seems like they could lose here as well.

Personally I just donate to causes I care about and support social enterprises that I feel a connection to - so this wouldn't be much use to me, but maybe it will lift the barrier some people need to donate.

    • At this point we will keep 25% plus 1$ transaction fee. But is open to discuss with the organization and depends if we do more work for them.Salarrue
