    Current projections indicate

    32.3% support NDP
    28.3% support Liberal
    29.4% support Conservative

What's crazy is that if you consider the Liberals to be "left" (as most do) that means that Canadians are 60% in support of a left-leaning government, and less than 30% on the right.

Looking at it another way, for each Canadian that supports the right-wing Conservatives, there are TWO Canadians who oppose them.

And yet, here we are, wondering who will be Prime Minister. What a crazy time to be in Canadian politics.

    • hence STV!Julesvm
    • The last thing we need is the NDP and Liberals merging into a single party. Look south at the farce a 2-party system created: Two right wing parties.i_monk
    • If anything, the Cons need to rebel against the lunatic Reform core under Harper and revive the Progressive Conservatives.i_monk
    • they'll get the 2-3% they need and get another government, the left are a bunch of idiots and we deserve the Conservatives if we can't get our shit together_niko
    • ...and vote in a left wing party in a country which sees the left enjoying almost 70% support._niko
    • mind boggling really._niko
    • what we actually need up here is deez nutsprophetone
