    Then why did they come to me to do their project? Tara, your work is very good. You would stand out in a large firm because you have talent.

    I'm currently working on a project for a large firm. The person acting as the project manager is an AD. She's trying to give me art direction, when she should be getting me assets. I wasn't mad until I tracked down her personal website, which shows very little talent and little knowledge about her craft. Also, she has plenty of design schooling, just very little talent or knowledge about anything other than type treatments. It was just an observation. Small and medium sized shops always have the best talent, flat out.
