actually unless the site they are ripping off is in the same business, or similar business as the client, I don't think there is much the law can do so long as no trademarked logos are infringed. I'd say if you can afford to let it go then give them the hard line. If you need to eat, you may need to swallow your professional pride and get paid. You can always leave that piece out of your portfolio.
