no offence meant to anyone who's replied to your post - btu why listen to peers when designing your site.
its YOUR personal site.
if you want something thats going to be a HIT with your peers etc give them something they havent seen before. something unique.
what do you think is missing from your OWN web experiences.
to test useability - get your granny to try work the site.
some of ur replies from people are like a creative director directing you.
i know you are only looking for opinions. - but create your own.
your the client.
