America's Got Talent. Does anyone watch this crap? We watched one the other night because one of the teasers was so scripted and danger-inducing, I had to see what it would turn out to be.
I can't stand the exaggerated way they exalt some of the contestants. In the show we watched, they had a guy who was going to skydive out of a helicopter, who called it base jumping. The judges were acting like they'd never even heard of sky diving, with this douche billing himself as "Extreme Steve" or some crap and the judges pretty much going all "you're gonna jump out of a helicopter, that's amazing!"
I wanted to punch through a wall watching this. I'll never even accidentally watch it again. It's gross and a complete assault on intelligence.
