  i'd like to try my hand at making a knife. anyone here ever done this?

  • my dad used to make fillet knives for himself, i still have one of themmoldero
  • that's a great thing to pass downscarabin
  • Get some billets and make some blanks. The only hard part is doing the heat treat well. Lotta good videos out there

  • I started a road spike knife. Hard as fuck when you're a beginner. Good workout tho, lol :pMaaku
  • thought i might start by cutting down an old circular saw blade. i'll have a nice tang i can make a cool handle withscarabin
  • The high speed steel used in saw blades isn't the best due to it's finicky temper and the thinness of it
