    What does "heavy" signify? Tons of massive files open at all times? Or just using it a lot?

    Honestly, anything is fine most likely. If it's tons of huge files, build a PC that can handle it, or spend 4x that for a Mac Pro. ORRR, build a hackintosh.

    Laptop performance will always be worse than a desktop. Definitely get an external monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Even a 15" screen sucks.

    • I disagree, you can use it without the external monitor, specially the retina. I do it all the time. and I choose my laptop over my 27' imac.Miguex
