Never charge per hour. A woman asked Picasso to sketch her something. The woman sputtered and asked how could he charge her thousands of dollars when it only took him a couple minutes. Picasso responded, “Madame, it took me my entire life.”
Do not be punished for your efficiency.

- I just had a very small one of these today. Knocked out some design interpretations in vector in about 5 minutes and then client queried a [paltry] £20 charge..detritus
- ..because I emailed them back so quickly.
Email response was words to the effect of "you are more than welcome to work in the industry for 15 years so you candetritus - ..do this yourself".
It's only one part of an overall job, which was charged fairly, as always.
Just thought it was cheeky as fuck - we'd already agreed cost.detritus - I should, perhaps, have waited a wee while before emailing, but fuck man. Cheeky cunt.detritus
