From a scientific standpoint, as organic beings, good and evil do exist in the form of order and entropy.
At any rate, there are forces that control us, that we in turn do not in turn control, ie a higher power. How about math and physics, they fit the bill for a higher power. Being rational and religious isn't mutually exclusive. Deism is cool. The most balanced approach is always the most informed approach- How do you equate order and entropy to good and evil? Which is which? How does that explain how all things are in a process of constant entropy? Truly curious.monospaced
