  no i think what he means is an icon to represent all the social channels for that website/company, rather than a sharing thing.

  Acme Widgets has a website, and they also have a twitter, a g+, facebook, pinterest, ello, etc etc. Rather than have a ton of icons, set's looking for an icon that says "click here for all our other channels'.

  if i understand it right.

  • realistically though most of these companies post the same shit across all channels, so i'm not sure how important this ishans_glib
  • You got it. And you're right with the note but some people only use one platform, like myself (twitter) so it's totally necessary to offer all platformsset
  • Often there's not enough room to display all the icons of all the platforms without a dropdown or popup, so there needs to be a universal social icon..set
