I;d get rid of that gaussian blurring everwhere...
simplyfy it down the squares are nice in version 2... but the rusty background doesn't go at all... the 3rd would look better with the squares rather than portrait rectangles... also I'd reduce the size of them and give more pace to the work preview on the right.
