    From my calculations that a descent towards the ground of 40/mph. How does that make sense? Seems like pilots still had 'some' control perhaps?

    • That's speed of descent only, it covered a lot of horizontal ground in that time so it's air speed would have been much greater ... no? Heard on reports the pilot had control for some of that time.MrT
